Renault Megan radio code needed

Hi BernieJ here, needing an audio code for renault megan.
Got alot of numbers here but not sure which is needed

OK so here goes
Model Number : 22DC259/62T

Prod Number : FD0200020033888

TOR Number : 182

RN259FY0033888

7700434422 TR182

Not sure at all which of the above numbers are needed for a code, but here is all of them off the radio

There is only 6 digits on the front of the radio

This radio is designed to fit Renault vehicles that utilise a seperate display on the dashboard. It cannot be used in other vehicles that do not have this seperate display fitted. The Code number is entered by using the remote steering controls, and not through the buttons on the fascia.

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ¬ " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press And Hold " ¬ " Until A Beep Is Heard

Thanks for getting back to me, but the method you describe for entering the code is not the method for this radio. the radio is with a tape deck in it and the code is entered using the radio buttons. it does not have the 0000 as described in you last message. It only says code and I have no wheel to rotate

IF THERE IS NO STEERING WHEEL CONTROL , THEN USE THE PRESET BUTTONS ON THE RADIO

Press the First Preset Button repeatedly for the 1st digit to be displayed
Press the Second Preset Button repeatedly for the 2nd digit to be displayed
Press the Third Preset Button repeatedly for 3rd digit to be displayed
Press the Fourth Preset Button repeatedly for 4th digit to be displayed

Then press and HOLD Preset button 6 for 10 seconds to store your code

(Note :Some radios use Preset Button 5 to store the code )

Start again

To restore from CODE leave SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED until it has automatically reset itself.

This can take an hour or much longer...so be patient.

Do NOT interrupt or else the waiting time starts all over again

Locked out proceedure

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the support so far.
I am doing as you have instructed i.e. I have left the radio on without doing anything and then YAY !!! 0000 appears, so I use the wheel on the remote to get the first digit up ( 8 ) I then go to press the enter button and ......... yep back to lockout, where am I going wrong ??
my fear now is resorting to a baseball bat as a remedy, either to use on myself or the radio
any suggestions please ?

I am now able to enter the full code then I press and hold enter till the beep then the whole thing goes back to CODE...............The code I am entering is 8817
