Need code for VW Polo radio

Hi all, i have bought a replacement radio for my daughters new car but it requires a code. I would much appreciate if somebody could help me out.

The radio is from a 2000 VW Polo 1.0L
SN - VWZ1Z2A5824286

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

I phoned my local VW dealer and they told me that would give me the code for free, good old VW
