1470 is correct code from radio serial number...

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" Cod "

Press Preset " 1 " and the display will show
" 0 0 0 "

Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit

If the correct code number is now shown
Press RH Tuning Button " > " to Enter


Note that code entry is only possible when "COD" is shown in the display.

If the display continually shows three bars " - - - " then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.

Also note that the first digit of the Code can only be a "Zero" or a "One".

If the first digit of your code is a "Zero" then the display should be selected and shown as blank for this digit.

Tried again 1470 but it didn't work.

On looking the product code on the radio label and not just what my Dad told me I found out that the last 3 digits are a total guess! Could be 7640750"010" but also xyx where x=? but seems to be rounded tops to both suggesting 02368or9 for either and y looks to be a 1(best guess)!

The radio code has to start with a 0 or 1 due to display limitation on first digit so 000 to 1999. None of the manuals show the product code listed.

Not sure how many of the 15 tries are left before it bricks!

Also if it helps this radio was bought as a separate unit, i.e. not pre installed in any car.
