  • Ford S Max 62 plate Navigation screen shows Anti-theft Protection and ask Pin Number

    Hello Everyone please help me!

I bought this new car Ford S max 62 plate, on the navigation screen it is showing "Anti theft Protection" and in words showing "Vechile Identification Number" but not the actual VIN number, and it asking for a PIN NUMBER. Where can i get this pin number from? How do i find my serial number? My car does not even start.

    Please help!

    Thanks

Return the car to the dealer to sort the radio and the no-start problem out

Thanks for your prompt reply, much appreciated.

The car does not start, is that to do with the navigation system asking for the pin number? If i enter the pin number will this unlock the system and allowing the engine to start?

If i find the serial number will you get me the code? I bought this car privately and as you probably know dealers are a rip off!

      Thanks

Return the car to the private owner and get them to sort it out.

Did it start OK when you first tried it?

        Or is it stolen perhaps?

It is not stolen, it was damaged from the front and then repaired.

          Thanks
