  • Corsa C Siemens CDR 2005 (E) Radio Advice

    Hi,

I have a Siemens CDR2005(E) that I recently removed from my car to do a soldering modification. I understand from other threads that this isn't a model that a code can be provided for on here. I have a few quick questions if someone would be kind enough to advise me

Firstly, would websites such as the following be able to provide the code? I have put in the serial number and they claim they can, but other websites and users on here have suggested the CDR2005 has to be hooked up to a decoder
Radio and Key Codes Online | AUTO CODES UK

Secondly, if it does have to be hooked up to a decoder, what should I search for on Google to find a local business? Is this something any independent car audio shop can deal with or do I need to search for something more specific?

    Many thanks for the help

Internet websites who claim to offer codes from Serial Number will not refund your money if their code does not work in your radio....so this can be risky.
    .

The best option is a local Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop and get your radio working again in minutes.

    (Expect to pay around £20)

Check your local Yellow pages, Google or ask at your local Car Audio Store.
