Using Fiat Blaupunkt IDC A09 with Blaupunkt Lausanne or London MP35

Hi Guys, I am restoring a BMW 1800 Neue Klasse from 1970 and I want to fit a Vintage Blaupunkt Frankfurt as a fully working radio but I also want to have more modern equipment to provide good quality stereo sound when driving the car for pleasure on longer runs. This modern kit will be hidden behind a flap in the center console below the Vintage Radio. I took a punt on a Blaupunkt IDC A-09 In dash CD Changer. This came out of a Fiat, not sure what car. Can I connect this to a standard Blaupunkt Stereo, the two I have are a Lausanne and a London MP35 I have contacted Blaupunkt and they have confirmed that a IDC A-09 should work with these units but will this Fiat Unit have different firmware and not be recognised. Anyway, I don't have a code for the IDC A-09 the serial number is BP915024332154 part number is 7 607 769 150 the other number on the unit is e1 021538 which I suspect is the firmware version. On the top of the unit is a Prod.Nr.Fiat 735 273 184 Any help greatly appreciated......:willy_nilly:

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
