Peugeot 206, error 4? how to enter code

i entered the wrong code and have error message 4, iv found my code but cant reset it to be able to enter it, tried disconnecting the battery with no luck someone please help

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED until it has automatically reset itself

ok i dont know alot about cars is it ok to just leave it running for that long, need to clean my car so i could just leave it on whilst doing that

Doesn`t the radio switch on without using the ignition key?

If not , then insert the ignition key and turn it to the FIRST position...then switch the radio on and leave it.

(the ignition key SECOND position is where the ignition lights on the dashboard light up

...and the THIRD position turns over the engine and starts the car).
