  • 1995 Mercedes C220

I purchased a code online (I KNOW- dumb) and I have NO idea where it is. I cannot locate the email or even proof of payment on Paypal, so maybe I didn't follow through - which is typical for me.
I bought my dad a 1995 Mercedes C220 and it has WAIT on the radio, indicative of needing a code.

Can someone supply it for me? I have the VIN number: WDBHA22E1SF182276

Mucho thanks in advance. You guys are great on here.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

        Thanks!!!!! :hurray:

I could not find this site again and got frustrated so I paid for a code $24, no big deal. It worked great, but the speakers suck, so I had to pull the radio and trace where the wiring problems are. When I reentered the code- NOTHING

It is flashing "wait" and has been for a whole day.Is there a master reset or anything? The code they gave me was 11211
Does that not work but only the one time? That seems crazy.

What about the whole WAIT bugger that is flashing

I read somewhere on the 'net (so it is TRUE!!) that you leave the radio on for four hours straight to "reset it"

I just left it on outside my work. The intermittent static has GOT to scare the hell out of people as they walk by.

Anyway - is that what you do when it says WAIT forever? And super thanks for the help. You guys rock.
