Please can someone help me out, I have purchased some software that apparently unlocks your stereo... all I ended up with was a load of links.

So I would appreciate it if someone could help me out with a code.

Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

I really need the code for the corsa stereo... Why are there companies advertising unlocking codes, if it can't be done over the airwaves?

Is there any other way of unlocking it?

It requires access to the dealer`s database which is not available to buy as software.

So the options are the Main Dealer or take it into a Radio Decoding Service

I have managed to get it unlocked, took about 10 minutes, cost £15.00 plus VAT

From a company called C.A.T (car audio technics)

So no main dealer, no need to leave it in the car, and a lot cheaper

Yes...so you use a Radio Decoding Service then as in the answer

It's a slightly older VDO CDR 500 (E) from a 2000 vauxhall tigra.
