been trawling through posts and am i right in thinking main dealer only

Yes....your radio is made by VDO and the code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service .
It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

luckily i've just been told a local garage does stereo decodes,
and they reckon they are able to do 99% that are out there, i epect the 1%
will be vdo lol,thanks again

managed to get stereo unlocked and been given a new code,for the life of me i cannot suss
how to enter new code,thought it would be simple like others i have done but cant work it out,any ideas (anyone) thanks
