1999 Mitsubishi Galant Stock Radio Code

Hello, my boyfriends car battery died tonight. We got it jumped and when we were driving off, he tried to turn on the radio but it said CODE. So I tried researching but no luck so I am trying here.

The radio is the stock radio (not a custom radio put in). My only question, is the # you need to figure out the code inside of the glove box? There was a number that started I think with MB or MR. I just want to know if that is the # you need or will I have to pull out the stock radio?

Sorry....Mitsubishi codes will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code
