Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this codeOriginally posted by Vmax View PostHi, I wonder if someone can help. I had to change the battery on my Vectra, but found the radio is now in safe mode.
I checked the folder i got with the car for the Car Pass (radio Pass) but found it wasn't there. I contacted the previous
owner, but he doesn't have it either. I was hoping someone could tell me the code for this. Thanks
The unit is a philips CCR2006 (E)
Serial No is GM020621192412
It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

unfortunately the code is not available for free (using the Serial Number ) from anywhere on the Internet.
Vauxhall want £53 for the code! so looks like I've got to look at new stereos.

I bought a '53 Vauxhall Vectra a few days ago off of a dealer. The car had been sat on his lot for about a month, and thus, the battery had gone dead putting the stereo into "Safe" mode.
He called the previous owner, a rather dotty lady, who had thrown the manuals away because she "didn't think she'd need it any more" :mad2:
The serial on it is GM020531836473 - its a Siemens VDO CDR2005
Thank you,
James
