ERROR Message explination + Code needed for Philips Mod 22RC200/35 Please

Hi Im looking for a code for my Philips Model 22RC200/35 Radio cassete in my old Berlingo. ( Which I thought was 2256) I also have the problem that after trying what I thought was the code 4 times the display now only shows me an error message (Just says ERROR) & wont let me enter anything into it !!! Any help with this problem would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance of any advice. Below is whats printed on the Radio.

Try code 2256 (correction !)

To restore from ERROR , leave SWITCHED ON ..UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself

This can take an hour or longer

the code can only be from 1111 to 6666
code 2256 is the right code for that Ton 758
