If you have been involved in the radio or car wiring, then this is usually due to an earth on the Mute Lead which is usually the yellow wire.

The fault is normally due to an earth on the Mute Wire (which is usually yellow )at the rear of the radio .Often caused by a loose wire or sticking mute button...but can be caused by a fault inside the radio.

If you do not have a mobile phone connected to this radio then remove the plain yellow wire from the connector at the rear of the radio.

If you are not sure what you are doing, then take it back to the dealer to rectify.
