  • Please Help! Code needed for Ford RDS 4000 radio

    Hi

I am well impressed at this resource
I've had a little bit of bad luck this week - I had a much loved Passat estate whose cambelt unexpectedly slipped, as it wasn't due to be changed until next year per it's VW history.

Anyway, I have been bought a wicked little Fiesta to run around in whilst I sort another big car out to transport my dogs - but we like to listen to John Humphries every morning going to work and the radio is flashing that it needs the code

    Please Help!

(I have posted this now so I can find this bit of the forum again when I get home, as I have limited internet access on my iphone and no internet in my village. I will have to get the Serial Number off the radio this evening. I have the registration number but not sure if it's the original stereo for the car, so don't want to waste my chance!)

    Many Thanks
    Linsay

Radio first delete the radio station from the dashboard. All the letters+numbers on any of the labels, bar codes or a stamp in a metal housing.
