I also have a problem with radio code in my LandRover Defender 2007. Supplied code 0200 does not work.

I don`t think these will work but try 1580 or 5500 each once only

If not successful then sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

There is a paper label with 180467
Stamped in ink on the case - 08103026P00128456

It was manufactured 08/10/03

It's from a 2009 Defender

Post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Hi ,thanks for your reply. I will post more info soon, as the radio is still in the defender . The serial no quoted was from the original land rover security information supplied. I can't understand why the original radio security code will not work?

Serial Numbers and codes quoted in the car documents are often incorrect.

The S/N details on the actual radio are required

Hi, have charged the battery on the defender, on reconnection cd /radio is asking for code.
But the original security code supplied with vehicle does not work.
The cd/radio unit is a visteon [56plate] radio serial no. 72856
Any advice please.
