Hi can anyone help me, I replaced my car battery on my 04 plate clio and now the stereo will not work needs a code? I have have been to the Reno dealers they want £49 + vat for a new set of code. Is it worth paying that? They told me if I get the code from a third party or non authorised Renault dealer I will be breaking the law and I could get arrested for fraud/deception???
Is this 18 year old behind the counter talking rubbish to me??? or is it true?
