LOCKED13 can only be reset by the Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Cheaper to buy another radio

Oh, oh, spoke too soon about the radio!

It is working fine but draining the battery by taking 0.3 amp even when switched off - any suggestions anyone or is it caput?

there will be some slight current drawn as there is a permanent battery feed to retain the radio tuning settings and code.If it is as high as you have quoted then it may be down to a faulty radio.
You could remove the fuse to this permanent battery feed which means you will have to insert the code every time it is switched on in the future...or get a new radio

I obtained the serial number in the display by pressing 6 and 1
as I couldn't remove it

What's the code please.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
