This is no my first time entering a code on a BMW OEM H/U. I know how to do it. In this case got the car with the unit installed and working, but had to change the battery, and the previous owner didnt include any paperwork for the radio so i dont have the code.

I think someone have swapped internals from a different unit (warrantry sticker ripped) rendering my serial number useless. VIN on h/u sticker matches the car.
