Peugeot 206 Radio Code Advice

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. My car radio is no longer working and I am replacing like for like. It is the Peugeot 206 Blaupunkt audio 2040. I have managed to find a 2nd hand one however it is without the code.
1. Will my existing code work with it? or if not
2. What infomation will I need to post on the forum to get assistance?

1....No...Each code is different and belongs to the radio

2....The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

So post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
