Help with radio in renault

I have recently be given a Renault and the CD player has a constant error message displayed, i have tried leaving it on for hours in hope it would go back to code (previous driver entered incorrect codes) if some one could help, with an answer as to how to get it to go back to code without having to wait that would be brilliant. Also the previous driver has now lost the code and I have no idea where to get one, if any one can help that would be great too, I have the details of the CD player.
