Blaupunkt 300 help please

Hi all similar problem here, I have astra blaupunkt car 300, I have registration card with these details on but radio is stuck on 7 safe and does now respond , when it was responding the code did not seem to do anything, do I need to take out the radio to get the serial number

2....The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to calculate your code

note: any information on Code Cards or other paperwork may not be correct so this is why the details on the actual radio are required

Hi , thanks again I found link in the interim. but I still have the safe 7 ,despite leaving it with ignition on for over 1 hr , according to the supplied chart . safe 7 should change after 20 mins?

Press AS and ON button

Leave SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself

Once reset Enter Code ...Press AS again and the radio should work

The important word is UNDISTURBED because if interrupted then the waiting time starts all over again

If this does not work then take your radio into a Radio decoding service

Thanks again i'll give it a go in the morning. Are these 300 radio's better than the older vauxhall rad cassette, as I have an older version with code in the garage If i have no luck with the blaupunkt one I mught give it a try

Hi again , massive thanks, code worked a treat, The 300 radio is much better than the older grundig one. I have put a cd radio in my partners nr identical mk 3 astra and swapped her blaupunkt "now coded" radio into mine , replacing my old grundig. The blaupunkt 300 is much more powerful , so well worth the effort. Great site/people
