Thank you, I'll try again. But now it is WAIT written. How long should I wait to try to enter code again? Can this unit be blocked for all times because of too many attempts to enter code?Originally posted by RegWorts65115 is the correct code for S/NO. AL 2297 V 09 54734

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED until it resets itselfOriginally posted by Arthur777Thank you, I'll try again. But now it is WAIT written. How long should I wait to try to enter code again? Can this unit be blocked for all times because of too many attempts to enter code?
This can take an hour or longer (even 24 hours +)
You can enter too many wrong codes before it fully locks ( usually around 15)

Did everything as you described. After one hour CODE with flashing C appeared. I have entered 65115, after entering the last digit ("5"), number 6 became flashing. I pressed SC button and then CODE with flashing C appeared again... Should I continue to hold SC button pressed even after CODE with flashing C appeared after 65115 code entering? Or in case when CODE appears again after code is entered, this means that entered code is wrong?Originally posted by RegWortsLeave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED until it resets itself

I've checked serial number - it is the same as I wrote above. Could it be, that previous owner of the car have made some repairs on this radio and, for example, have changed some electronics inside the radio, so the other code is appropriate for this radio now?

The Code Entry Instructions given were quoted from hereOriginally posted by Arthur777Searched the internet and found that button ">" (Tune button) should be pressed once for this model (MF2297)... Some sources says that < or > or << or >> button can be pressed. Is it correct?
Just a moment...
Alternative Instructions are found here

If you have found anything different then try them all out and let us know if any work
If none work then your radio may have been recoded in the past to a completely different number

I think it could be so. I found sticker "CATS REPAIR" on the top and on the bottom of the radio. So the code might be changed during the repair...Originally posted by RegWorts
