  • Vauxhall Astra Blaupunkt VDO CDR500

    Hi Guys,

My battery recently dropped below being able to stat the starter motor and my CD player has locked itself. I am going to be doing a 300+ mile journey tomorrow and could really do with my tunes!

Can anyone provide me with an unlock code for a CDR500(E)

    GM VDO 330886636
    No. 24 469 302
    Type: CDR 500 (E)
    2F4
    WA030313 403/75
    GM050031813473

Paypal donation for your time can be given if requested!
Vauxhall say it takes 24 hours and costs £30 to 'program' a new code, I however know there is a database of manufacturer codes.. scam artists..

I'm fairly sure i was provided with a code before and remember pumping it in and the radio kicking into life as I was not provided with the audio card with the code on when purchasing the car and when contacting the seller he arranged it over the phone. It was a 4 digit number, I wish I had it written down somewhere. i know that at no point did i take it in for eeprom coding.

For £30 i may as well just got a new kenwood system =/

        Thanks anyhow aissa09

Yes...there are at least 2 professional Decoding services who have access to a database to provide codes from Serial Number , but they charge around £20 and there is no refund guarantee if it doesn`t work.

          Not free though!
