Blaupunkt PF3/C Code Please? (Peugeot 306)

Hi, I have the original car documentation which gives the code as 6092, but that doesn't work. Now at the stage where it displays ---- for 1 hour before allowing another attempt. Any help greatly appreciated. The numbers off the barcode label are:

7 642 774 392

6092 is the correct code for the numbers given BP2774S7828890 7 642 774 392

I wonder what I'm doing wrong. It doesn't surprise me that you say it is the correct code as I am told the radio has never been changed from the original. The code just doesn't seem to work - from CODE I can get 0000 then set the display to 6092. Press 6 and it goes back to ----. Have to leave it obn for another hour to try again. I've had 2 attempts so far after an hour wait. The handbook says I'm allowed 20 before it locks out completely.

Re-check your serial number BP2774S.......................... If it is the same, then your radio had been re-coded to a different code. You will need the services of a radio decoder, who will read the code stored in the eeprom..
