      Hi all,

Finally got my first Landrover 52 TD4 and In an emergency (1 week from due date pregnant wife) I replaced the battery only to find out not to have the required code for MY Radio/CD multi.

I'd really appreciate Anyone able to help me getting the code!

      Type:22DC597/60R
      RG Part No: XQD 101730PMA
      RG 597W21147182
      VDO Germany

      Barcode 90222159760500
      00302201147182
      Many thanks,
      Trelaer

          Thanks for the advice!
I noticed many freelanders on here had visteon units, mine seems to be the standard landrover branded unit,
          is that of any use?
The code was on the bottom of the unit on a printed sticker.
Any idea what I could expect to pay?
          Many thanks

            Yours is made by Philips

The best option is a Radio Decoding Service who will charge around £15 > £25 .They comnnect a laptop to electronicall read the working code inside the radio's memory chip...ofter whilst you wait

There are a couple of professional decode services who have access to the original Philips database ...but they will charge around £20>£25 ..and there`s no money back guarantee if it doesn`t work
