chrysler code needed

I'm not sure how this works but i've just purchased a year 2000 chrysler voyager 2.5TD and had to change the battery as the old was kaput, now i've done that the radio just shows 'code' i've taken it out to see if there is a code on the back, but to no avail, so i've taken note of the serial and date code in the hope that someone knows what my code would be

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
