Many thanks for your prompt reply, awesome work and much appreciated!

However... I can't get the CODE to change into numerals, nothing seems to work, tried the instructions on this forum and elsewhere using the steering column controls and the preset buttons, but it just beeps at me and the word CODE remains there no matter what I press/turn.

Is it possible that the incorrect numbers have been entered too many times and it's been locked even from entering numbers? (it was like this when I bought it a few weeks ago)

Any clarity greatly appreciated,

Please note that code entry is only possible when "0000" is shown in the display.
If the unit is codelocked it will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.


Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE " Then " 0000 "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press and hold preset " 6 " To Enter

My new (new to me, 4th-hand) Clio needs her stereo unlocking, I'm afraid.

Luckily the tool from my Ford works to remove the stereo in the clio too
