I found a place in Rock Ferry, Merseyside (Cablex) that has a guy that re-vins radios £25, so if you live nearby it'll save postage and a long wait.

Hi Sowi, No it doesn't show a code IMMO on the display, radio works but beeps every few seconds. So does that mean it isn't linked to the VIN number?

Realised that this radio needs to have the VIN reset, any recommendations for someone that does it near Wirral, Merseyside.

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard.

Then quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

On the back of the casing is a small sticker that says SMQ250
