sorry about the duplicate posting. i saw your response. Thank you.

i have another question. you said i can not get it free from the internet. the dealer around me is far and can only do this on specific days in the week. And it doesn't match my work schedule. can you advise where (reliable) i can pay to get it online?

Unfortunately I don`t like to recommend any particular Internet service just in case they let you down. If the code they provide does not work in your radio , then there is unlikely to be a refund of your money.

          Peugeot 306 - Unlock code

          Hi,

Would anyone be able to help me with the unlock for my wifes Peugeot 306 please.

I have tried to fix it myslef but I may well have locked it.

This problem occured becuase the battery was switched and the radio lost the code.

I am able to switch on the radio and I get this ---- on the display. I press the bnd button and it says (Code In).

I enter what I think the code is (4124) and it just goes back to ----. Not sure if this is locked now or I am just trying the wrong code.

The details of the radio are:
          Model PU-GG83A
          serial 96241474ZL
          CL0269T0051176

I would be very greatful for any help.

          Regards

          Bill

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
            C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
            (Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.

              Hi,

There is a baracode on it but it just says 0051176 which looks like the end of the CL number.

Also - If i do have the correct code but I have just locked it, will leaving the radio on for an hour reset it so i can enter the code again?
