  • Philips Car 400 problems entering code

Ok, one of the guys here was nice enough to get my unlock code for the headunit for me. following the advice i left it on, but after an hour it automatically shut down. When i turn it on it says "SAFE" but if i press the AS button OR power it on while holding the AS button it displays "95 SAFE" instead.

Getting really confused here. anyone come across this 95 safe before, or can anyone gove me the exact wording from the manual on how to enter the code and the delay timings after entering incorrectly........... the net is awash with varying answers.

    Thanks,

    A very confused individual

    This has already been answered.

If you`ve not tried leaving it SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for up to 12 hours on your workbench then I cannot make any further suggestions.

Leaving it in your car and letting it automatically switch off after an hour is obviously not long enough.

the only reason i made this post is because you said you have never seen the "95SAFE" display before and only results i can find for that on google are in polish with a not-so-helpful google translate they dont make sense. starting to think 95 is an error code of some kind meaning locked out,as no way would it let you try 95 times to get the right code. its been on for over two hours today and still nothing
