Hi, I disconnected the power to radio for 10mins and when I re-connected the display showed "CODE". I looked up how to enter the code on this model radio, input the Code you gave me and it burst back into life - Thank You!!

Thanks for that, but I can't try the Code because the Display is showing "ERR CODE" and won't let me do anything.
I'll have to try and find out how to get rid of the "ERR CODE" and how to enter the Code you have provided.

leave it turned on untill it resets itself.
note the radio does not lockout after a wrong code entry it only doubles the time to wait before
the next retry...if a wrong code is entered it will display error then after the delay should display "0000")

Just been reading this thread and I have similar problem. Battery was disconnected by garage and when re connected the Radio asked for the CODE which I don't have as i bought the car 2nd hand. Can anybody help. Radio details are as follows :

What is the make of car?

If it is a Renault, Peugeot or Citroen post the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode
