Hi all, wondering if anyone can help?
ive had a new battery installed in car and haven't got code for radio..or forks to obtain serial
number off radio..
ive pressed 6 and 1 and obtained these codes..
50702201 with 0 underneath
DP-MV-5H with 255 underneath and
81-10-00 with cd underneath..
can anyone give me code please as im having to listen to the wife! thanks a lot

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay etc ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4
securing clips

Hi everyone,

hoping someone can help me here! Had to change the battery in the wife's Focus and we now need a radio code. Local Ford garage are going to charge us $70 to get the code. I've bought the radio keys and removed the radio, but the only information sticker on the side of radio is as follows:

Serial No: 310207020921
5M5T-18C815-AF
SAM Model No: 14790921

I've tried pressing buttons 6 and 1, and 6 and 2 but that is not working either.

Any help to get the radio key code would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry....your Ford SAM radio code cannot be calculated. It will only be available from the Main Ford Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
