It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Unfortunately pressing 6&1 or 6&2 does not work. I looked at the removal instructions but the radio in the instructions is not the same as the radio in my vehicle, any chance there are removal instructions for a 2010 model?

recently bought an 05 mondeo and after replacing the dodgy battery i discovered that there is no sign of any info regarding the audio system in the handbook i was given and no codes anywhere, i finally managed to pull the radio out today to obtain the sn can someone kindly get me a code please
