Ok, So I thought i'd update... finally got the radio out and found that it was a 'v' code. I remembered reading on here that you couldn't get those codes for free so I took it to a garage and they got me the code for £5, so is working like a charm now.... But thank you for all your help x

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Thank you for the prompt response, unfortunately it didn't work.... My bad. I tried to get the serial number by pressing the 6 and 1 together, but I think the number I got (the 060206) one is a standard number, and I guessed at the 'M' :blush5:

I am going to get the radio taken out properly tomorrow... Can I come back with the proper number when I have it or have I blown it now?
