Hi all,
I really need help to get a code for my Mum's car stereo as that battery had to be replaced and she can't find to code card.

Model - PU-2294A (C)
S/N - CL0401Y0329788

I found a Clarion code calculator and it gave me the code "4356", that didn't work. :-(

Anyone that can help me with this is AWESOME, and earn me some serious brownie points.

yes unles you have a second barcode that starts with C7
the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet
is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service
or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
inside your radio

The only other S/N started with a "H------------" i think and that was on the side on the metal casing.
I'm gonna have to pull the stereo out again now just to check it.

only on some have the two barcodes and only the ones with the second barcode that starts with c7
