Problem help me

I have problem.. I change my battery on my Xantia 1998., and when i try to input code for radio i wrong time input many time.
I know code now, but i have problem , i can not now to input code, on my radio display have only ---- and i can not to write code when i want tu write number i push taster but ---- no change only stand ---- can not write number!!!
HELP ME

I bought a 1998 Citroen Xantia a few weeks back and have a problem as my radio is now locked due to the battery having been removed. I just completed a 6 hour journey and am almost crazy having nothing to listen to. Can someone please help me find the code?

The numbers on the back are:

CL0320W0018217
Model PU-1561 A

There are no signs of a maker so I can't provide.

Hi .... Sorry.

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 _ _ _ _ on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Apologies for that....its my broadband speed,.....didn't realise I'd sent it twice. Have searched without luck for code but only found paid services. Will try again though.

No luck at all searching for unlock codes even with barcode……....been told it's cheaper to buy new radio. Any suggestions for a replacement?
