I might be in trouble, I tried to enter different codes from generators few times and now the radio says "WAIT" and nothing is happening. please advise.

You'll just have to wait a while until you can retry entering the codes. Be careful about entering too many codes as I think it can make the radio unworkable if you enter incorrectly too many times.

Hi, I have just bought a Merc from 1994 with an original Becker radio BE1492. The radio requests a code that I don't have. So I took the radio out and saw that the sticker with the serial no is scatched and the serial no can't be read anymore. But there is a long barcode above with a no under it. Hope this works too.
