I have recently got back from a 6 month tour, during that time I left the battery disconnected on my defender and now the radio won't work. I've got all the info off the radio;
Manufactures pt no: ME-6H3303LR-05
Landrover pt no: 7H12 18C873 BE
Serial no:0006891
Manufacture date: 12/02/07

Any help with getting the radio code would be very appreciated.

Yes that is marked on two locations on the radio it's self as the serial number.
From looking at the other threads I understand that all the other serial numbers start with a letter.

Unfortunately the codes for these seven digit Serial Numbers cannot be calculated

Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service only

There are no free solutions on the Internet for these codes

Sorry....these Visteon radios with seven digit Serial Numbers mean that your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
