Hi,
I have a FORD 6000 CD radio. After disconnecting the battery radio requires a code, but I can't find the documents.
Please help. SN: V263178

hi - I changed the injection pump and the battery and now I need the code to restart the radio - there´s no code anywhere in the records - so where and how to find the serial number and with that number what´s the next step ? thank you in advance !

The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M854331 or V555323
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Nope, it was not the correct serial number I think. How to find the serial number? I tried the 1+6 button trick.

hi i was wondering if you could maybe help me as well, I'm not very good with all this stuff yet and I'm new on this site ,
I've got a ford transit with a 6000 cd rds , but i need a code as well because i disconnected the battery . the code that was given to us isn't correct.
the serial number is M003774 ,
i hope someone can help because I've got a 14 hour drive ahead and it will be horrible without some music!
