Hi, I have a 6000cd that needs its code.

It wasn't supplied by the Ford dealer when purchased and I've just had a new battery but the dealership closed down recently so can't go back to get it!

i just brought my ford 2001 ka from dealer, jt realized the radio need a code but it is not the one same as the manual book, from the manual book said my car should fit with 1000 serial or 6000 CD serial, but my radio is totally different from these two model. what can i do? i need a radio code very much

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Unable to enter code

Hi there, I have a code for my 6000cd, but I am unable to enter the code. When I press button 1, nothing happens. The screen just asks for the code but it won't allow me to enter anything! Any ideas? Thanks you xx
