The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code. (Serial Numbers and codes in the car documents are often incorrect)

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi we are about to trade our ford focus in and it has been in the garage and we need the code to unlock it however, we don't have the serial number and can't get the unit out to get the serial number. Any suggestions as we have CD's in the unit we want back? thanks

Unfortunately the radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
