i've bought my car second hand and the dealer had't got the number from the previus owner.. So when my cooler started to leek.. long story short, I had to unplug the battery.

But, the previus owner has not put any information at all in the car, guess he keeps it safe att home.

I have a Ford Focus -04, a 6000CD radio. tryed the tip on one of the pages to hold in 6 and press 2, nothing happend.
But if i hold 6 and pressed 1 this things poped up.
50702000 (and a small 0 beneath)
DP MV SH (and small 255 beneath)
09-00-00 (and a small "CD" beneath)

Is there any way you guys can sort it out? Or is it just to hope that my mecanic can?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

If pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 does not display the correct number then the radio will have to be removed
from the dashboard and correct SERIAL NUMBER will be found on a label on the casing

Code worked a treat... once I got it wired in... advice to others: if you have stereo power problems check both fuses F69= 7.5A and F72= 20A are ok!

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I took my car to the Ford garage to get the code for my radio and apparently the code off the system isn't being recognised.

The serial number is M044200

When I press 1 and 6 together I get the following display:

CDX6E OT
MJ MP DS
MV 02-11
