  • Peugeot 306 Code needed for Blaupunkt tape deck / radio.

    Hi,

I have put back my old Blaupunkt radio into my Peugeot 306. It is now locked out and needs the code. The code that can be in-putted is ones of the ones that can go from 0000 to 9999.

The serial number of the radio is:

    On the top

    Blaupuntk PF3/C R

    96 136 535 80

    Below this is

    +C6BPH7836915*

    +C72000007077*

    On the side is

BP2774S7836915 (note the S in the middle of the code might be a 5)

    7 642 77 392.

That is everything on the radio. Any help really appreciated.

    Thanks

2245 didn't work, I have to wait an hour now before I can try the other 2.

After having the radio off for about 4 hours I cannot input another code. How long do I have to wait? Does it need to be disconnected from a power source?

        Thanks

Leave SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.

This could be many hours as the waiting time doubles after each wrong code.

Note..if disturbed then the waiting time stars all over again ...so you have to be patient

Ok I will try this. Just to confirm, when you say switched on do you mean with the key in the ignition , so the radio is physically on and '- - - -' appears on the display?

If this is the case wont my battery go flat? I don't make many journeys that are over 1 hour.

A decent battery will last many hours with the radio switched on ( 40 plus hours?) so you should be able to leave it switched on.

If there is any doubt, then remove the radio from the car and connect it up on your workbench to a spare battery (or battery supply such as a battery charger ) and leave it overnight.
