  • Renault Scenic radio code trick but bipping

I found in a web site a trick to activate the 0000 (I can not find the web site now)

I needed to activate the 0000 as only CODE was appearing after entering too many times the wrong code.

So the trick suggested to pres 2 and 5 hold and start the radio. When I did this, the radio actually started without having to enter any code. Great, I thought. But every 3 seconds there is a loud bipp noise. How can I stop this? I tried disconnecting the battery but now the radio can always be powered on, but with the bipping noise.

    Any ideas?

If you are trying to fit this radio to a different vehicle, then you may find yourself with annoying BEEP
every few seconds. As well as having a conventional Radio Security Code number,
this stereo is also electronically paired, or "Married" to the engine management system
of the vehicle it came out of using very sophisticated VAN-BUS system technology
your can try but only if it was in the car from the begining
leave turned on untouched for as long as it takes to reset itself
then post the numbers/letters from below the main barcode
something like 7700xxxxxxtt123 or 8200xxxxtt123 or
the security code like Q123 or T0U123
can be found in a small box then i can help you
    get you code.
