My battery died on me a few weeks ago and I am going CRAZY with no radio or CD!! Can't find the code bit of paper anywhere and Mercedes want £25.00 !

Would be very grateful if you could get hold of the code, do you just need my serial no?

Hi there -

Finally got round to taking the CD/Radio out of the Smart car - it's such a bugger to get out!!! I have managed to pull the facia away from the metal housing so I think I also need some SuperGlue now!

The sticker on the side says:

Smart Radio CD
I assume this is the Serial Number (above the barcode?) as it is also the number stamped into the metal casing...

There are also some other numbers on the sticker - do you need those? Nothing that really resembles a Model Number... (maybe G.HL 31-00 ?? I doubt it tho...)

I'd be really grateful to anyone who might be able to get hold of a code as its driving me nuts and Smart/Mercedes want £25 which I don't have at this time of year!!
