      that code doesn't work.

I have to select the code and then push a button (doesn't mind which)????

What do I have to do after I entered the code? Which button do I have to select then?

8312 is the original manufacturer's code, however I suspect incorrect code entry procedure.
The code is entered using the steering wheel stalk controls.
        Here's some instructions.

Standard Renault Radio (with Dashboard Display) Code Entry Instructions

        * Switch Radio On - The Display will show 'CODE' quickly
        * followed by '0000' with the first "0" digit flashing.

1 Rotate "Thumbwheel" until First Correct Digit of Code Displays
2 Press the [¬ ] button on the Stalk Control to Enter in the FIRST Digit
3 The Second Digit '0' will now flash.
4 Repeat process (1) & (2) for both the correct Second and Third Digits of the code.
5 When the fourth digit flashes '0', use the thumbwheel again to bring up
the correct fourth digit on the display.
6 You now have the correct code displayed with the fourth digit flashing.
However, this time you need to hold the [¬ ] button on the stalk control
for at least 10 seconds. This process activates the code.

Wow, that worked fine for me.

          Many thanks.

You see, the code is not the only thing that's necessary to unlock your radio. I wouldn't have found out without your help.

          thanx again.

Entering radio code when only the word "CODE" displayed no blinking zeroes

Hello, and sorry to wake up such an old thread but being a new user/first poster my resources are limited

So in my case the problem is that I entered a wrong code ONCE (being lazy to check the paperwork and tried to do it from the top of my head) and now I have only the word "CODE" shows up without changing to the blinking zeroes.
As one week has been gone already I assume it's not a kind of "time delay" function but it's blocked.

Is it possible to unlock to a state where I can enter the correct code I have?
As I have only switched it on for 3-4 times for a couple seconds each to check -I wonder if there is still a time delay function and I need to leave it on for longer? (you know hope never dies )

Model No: 22DC239/62R - Single CD player/Radio with built in display for a 2002 Twingo

            Any suggestions?

            Thanks

as I was looking for a picture to post I've found a place where they said, 'Please note that code entry is only possible when "0000" is shown in the display. If the unit is codelocked it will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.'

So possibly I just have to leave it on a bit more. Will see...

But just for curiosity - if anybody knows - what needs to be done when you used up all your attempts?
It said on that site, 'If it does not reset after this time, then all of your code entry attempts may have been used up, and the unit will need to be sent to us to be decoded and reset.'

              Thanks

If it is fully locked then it can only be reset by a Radio Decoding Service.

Perhaps cheaper to buy another radio ...with a code!

I bought a Twingo GT in 2008,these days I had to replaced the battery and I need a security code to restart the radio...Renault had not given to me ever (and also doesn't answer my e-mail).But also I don't know the product model and something like that...Where can I found this info so you can help me? Is it at the manual? The Code Key Car?
It is a standard radio with no MP3,only cd, and the car is from April 2008, from Spain.

                              Can you help me, please?
