yes thats right code 000 to 1999 for BP2758 IF it only needs three digits then 790

from what I understand the first digit of the code remains at "1", then use the code 1790

Thanks for letting me know - unfortunately I don't have the answer for the right code for this particular model of radio.
I'm going to research this issue further.
In the meantime, keep an eye on this post, perhaps a senior member may have an answer.
Other options you may need to consider is using a radio decoding service, who will read the security code from your radio's eeprom chip.
Have a look through other posts - often Reg provides an email address for contact on difficult de-coding.

back again, my reserch didn't take long - i've been on a radio decoding website, who have confirmed also
that code is 790, or in your case 1790.
What this means: is your radio may have been in a decoding workshop before - and the original code has been changed OR maybe there is some other fault with the radio.
only a decoding service will be able to verify this.

According to my database it should be 0790 as already stated.

The only other 000 - 1999 calculator gives a code of 1708 ...but I doubt if this will work as these are the old Citroen radios..

I reckon your radio has been recoded.
