Unlock code for Ford 6000 cd player?

3627 is the correct code for the numbers quoted

Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Checked again. Pressing 6&2 brings up M581563 and 6&1 brings up B301259. When I enter 3627 and 5 it doesn't count the tries, screen goes blank and CODE ---- comes back up.

I am new on this forum. I have a rented Ford Transit car with a 6000CD radio on which it is written "Security Locked". I really do not know who many attempts have been done to unlock it and I am stuck. My Ford garage seems not to want to be helpful. The radio serial number is FDC 2004 MOO7904 (I was not able to remove the radio and to look at it's back, I just pressed buttons 1 and 6). MOO7904 seems to be the S/N

Could you help by giving me the code to unlock it and moreover do you have a way to be able to have "Code _ _ _ _" to enter it again?

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer
