Sorry i must be doing something wrong because that code did not work ! when i hold down the buttons 1 and 6 i got this code pop un the radio
mgpdj5 409 07-02-00. My cd is now locked for 30 mins i apologise for being electronically retarded...

the problem is that the display shows "locked" just locked (not locked 10 or 13)and I can not enter the code
numbers.i have take my car to a ford agency and they told me that can't fix

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

LOCKED means it will have to be reset by the Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

Time for a new radio ...it will be cheaper!
